This site earns a small commission from some of the links on these pages. It costs you nothing extra, and it does not buy a mention. This page explains exactly how the money works so you can judge the rest of the site knowing the arrangement.

What we are a participant in

Adobsi Kab Magelang is a participant in the Amazon.com Services LLC Associates Program, an advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We use the tag ntaifitness-20 on outbound links to Amazon.

What we earn

If you click one of our Amazon links and then buy something, Amazon pays us a commission on that sale. The price you pay is the same either way. The commission comes out of Amazon's margin, not out of your pocket, and it does not change the price you see at checkout.

We also earn from the Amazon store page for this tag, so a visitor who arrives through that link and buys anything counts the same way.

What we do not do

  • No price, rating, or review count is shown. Those figures change constantly and we have no way to keep them honest, so we leave them out entirely. Follow the link to see the current figure.
  • No "we tested this" claims. We do not buy and field-test most of the products referenced here. The pages describe what a product needs to do for a specific trip, and the cards show an example of that product type. Read the criteria, not the listing.
  • No payment for a mention. No brand, seller, or manufacturer has paid for a product to appear on this site, and none can pay to be added or removed.
  • No gatekeeping. We link to Amazon search results as well as to a specific example, so you can compare across brands and price points yourself.

How products get chosen

Products appear on these pages only when a guide makes a specific, practical demand — a 1-litre water bottle because a climb has no water at the top, a red-light-capable headlamp because sunrise walks start at 1 a.m. Each card lists the criteria that matter for that use, so you can buy a different brand that meets them.

Where a product type has meaningful technical specifications — lens thread sizes, filter thread diameters, waterproof membranes — the guide states the specification rather than recommending a listing.

How we check the links

Every product reference is stored with a real Amazon identifier and a date. We re-check each one before publishing, and we remove any that no longer resolve. At the time of writing, 22 of 22 product references were verified live on 2026-10-05.

Who this helps

Commission from these links funds the research behind the guides. The temple pages here involved reading inscriptions, comparing restoration histories, and tracking down which distances sources contradict. Nobody paid for that work.
